Rawa Island Resort
The island is named Rawa, after the colloquial Malay word for white doves or more specifically the pied imperial pigeon (Ducula bicolor) which are native to the island. Due to the island’s unique north-south orientation, its white, sandy beach remains largely protected from the open waters of the South China Sea behind. Rawa island boasts a hundred per cent coral cover and its house reef is naturally shallow, making it an ideal destination for safe entry level diving and sea sport activities for adults and children alike.

Morning / Early Afternoon
- Arrive at Mersing Jetty (arranged before your trip).
- Boat transfer (approx. 20–30 min) to Rawa Island.
- Check-in at the resort and enjoy a welcome drink.
Lunch
- Buffet lunch at the resort restaurant (included).
Afternoon
- Free & easy time! Options: • Lounge on the white sandy beach • Swim or snorkel just off the shore (coral reef) • Try the giant Rawa water slide (included/free access) • Kayaking or paddleboarding (additional fees) • Walk to scenic spots or the island’s hilltop viewpoint

- Dinner at the resort (included).
- Relax with an island sunset.
